- The 16th Contracting Squadron intends to award a follow-on Sole Source service contract to Dr. JH Carter III & Associates Inc. The contract is for a basic year and four option years. Hurlburt Field intends to purchase the following surveys: Annual Fish & Herbaceous Surveys in accordance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) requirements listed in Chapter 62-611, F.A.C., Wetlands Application and the Hurlburt Field Wetlands Monitoring Plan (1991) and subsequent submittal of the Annual Wetland Summary Report. Dr. JH Carter III & Associates Inc. specializes in environmental consulting services. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 541620, with a small business size standard of $6M. Place of performance shall be at pre-determined test sites on Hurlburt Field, FL with subsequently submitted environmental reports. A Firm-Fixed Price Order will be issued in writing. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). The Government believes that Dr. JH Carter III & Associates Inc. is the only known source that has base line data to provide this service. Anticipated award is 30 April 2006. This notice is NOT a request for quotes.
