- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of Land Mobile Radio Maintenance services at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Required services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of commercial Item, shall apply to this acquisition. Services include, but are not limited to: Providing management, materials (parts), labor tools, transportation and equipment necessary to provide required maintenance for all equipment. Contractor shall maintain the SmartNet 6.X VHF Single Zone Infrastructure trunking equipment, in accordance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specification on a recurring or non-recurring basis. The trunking infrastructure was installed Jan 05. (The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards outlined in the Statement of Work.) This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A Fixed Price Performance Based Service contract will result from the solicitation, & award selection will be based on past performance and price with past performance being significantly more important than price. Period of performance will be for six months plus four option years. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811213. The small business size standard is $6.5 Million. Solicitation No. FA4690-06-R-0001 will be issued as an RFP, & will be posted on or about 17 January 2006. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.eps.gov, with no paper copies issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation packages. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423.
