- Description
- The National Institute on Aging, IRP, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Alpha Omega Biotechnology, Woodbine, MD for racks and cages for our Holabird Satellite Facility, 6200 Seaforth Street, Baltimore, MD 21224 in support of maintaining a quality production and pathogen-free colony. Alpha Omega is the only known source which has access to the Holabird Satellite Facility and can perform this service. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 541990 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirement of FAR, Part 6, Competition Requirement and is an 8A set-aside. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed ocntract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
