- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) which will solicit proposals to conduct a follow-up study of National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB) users and non-users in order to respond to information needs. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the NPDB and the HIPDB as flagging systems, sources of information, and decision making tools and to determine user satisfaction with the information provided by the NPDB and HIPDB. The solicitation will result in a cost reimbursement type contract. The anticipated period of performance is two years. The previous study was under contract 230-98-0030 (full and open competition) and this will be a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541690 and the small business size in dollars is $6.5M.
