- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is planning to purchase from Beckman Coulter, Inc. Item 6605697 Multisizer III Particle and Cell Counter and Sizing Analyzer with software and PCB ethernet interface. The agency is unaware of any other comparable product on the market that will meet the needs of the agency. However, the agency will consider any response(s) to this announcement received by February 8, 2006 in determining whether or not to compete this requirement. If the agency determines to compete this requirement, a RFQ will be issued solely to the responders of this notice and a subsequent presolicitation notice will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of a Federal Contract. Vendors may register at www.ccr.gov. This is an unrestricted procurement.
