- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Laboratory located in Santa Cruz, CA has a requirement for a contractor to provide janitorial services. The laboratory is an approximately 56,000 square foot modern facility, which serves approximately 100 researchers and support staff. The laboratory complex is a two storey building consisting of four interconnected wings: administration wing, office wing, laboratory/aquarium wing and the warehouse wing. All work shall be performed between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, the facility will be closed on all government holidays. A firm- fixed price order will be issued with performance period of one year with up to two (2) option years. This solicitation may be cancelled if a suitable 8(a) vendor is located. Proof of prior satisfactory performance is required. A request for quotation with detailed statement of work will be issued on or about Feb 7, 2006. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov.
