Description

The purpose of this amendment is to change the following information: (1) NAIC code for this requirement to 484230, Size Standard is $23.5M and (2)change the response date to March 13, 2006. All other information remains the same.*******The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has an ongoing requirement for a Contractor to handle and transport Low Specific Activity (LSA) II Class 7, radioactive materials between NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) facility located in Gaithersburg, MD and designated sites in the United States and Canada. The solicitation number is SB1341-06-R-0009, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY under FAR Part 15 Procedures. The NAICS code is 484230 with a size standard of $23.5M. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about February 10, 2006 and will only be available via the internet at the above web site. Potential offorers are responsible for accessing the web site. NIST anticipates awarding a single indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling amount of $500,000 under, which firm-fixed- price, labor-hour or time and materials task orders would be negotiated for Contractor labor and other direct costs. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation available.
