- The United States of America, Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) has a requirement for buildings and grounds/facility services to support the operations and maintenance of its Transmitting Station facilities in Poro, Philippines. The Contractor shall be required to provide skilled and unskilled labor to perform: (1) buildings and grounds maintenance services; (2) specialty trades services (e.g., antenna tower rigging/repair); and (3) transportation (driver) services. The Contractor shall be required to provide the above services on both a scheduled basis and an emergency basis. Contractors must be familiar with local licensure and worker?s compensation insurance requirements for tradesmen. Contractors may pick up copies of the Solicitation (RFP) Package at the Poro Transmitting Station or download the attached Adobe (pdf) file. Written responses (technical and price proposals) shall be due to Mr. Terence Donovan, Station Manager, Poro Transmitting Station, International Broadcasting Bureau, Poro Point, San Fernando City, La Union, Philippines no later than 2:00 pm local time on March 3, 2006. The annual estimated price of services required is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance will be for one base year, with options for 4 additional one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the attached Solicitation document referenced herein, and all proposals shall be considered by the Agency. This FBO notice is not a RFP, IFB, or RFQ.
