- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office anticipates contracting with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06115-9129, for MH-60L Altitude Hold AFCS Upgrade Top Kits (Part Number S7070-00015-011). The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 6 Feb 06. You may request a copy, via email, from jacki.alford@us.army.mil. Foreign firms must request a copy through their embassy. The estimated delivery date of the kits is January 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Numbered Note 22 is applicable to the Request for Proposal.
