Description

The requirement is for preventive maintenance services for emergency generators and emergency light sets at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The work shall include all labor, transportation, supervision, management, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work. The combination firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract shall provide for a base and four option year periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion under FAR clause 5252.217-9301 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract - Services. The solicitation will be issued as a Small Business set-aside under NAICS 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Standard is $6.0 million. The solicitation will be available for download to registered Contractors on or about 03 Feb 2006 at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Notification of amendments and the official Planholders List will be maintained on the web site. Contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database at http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award.
