Description
This RFP is a 100 percent set-aside for small business. NAICS 488190 with a size standard of 6 Million. This RFP follows our SOURCES SOUGHT of 30 JUNE 2005 SUBJECT: TOTAL LIFE CYCLE AIRCRAFT AND PRIMARY MISSION EQUIPMENT LOGISTICS AND MAINTENANCE SU PPORT REQUIREMENT. C-12H AIRFRAME AND MISSION EQUIPMENT LIFE CYCLE CONTACTOR SUPPORT (LCCS) for one modified Beech King Air 200 airframe and associated primary mission equipment. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION. HQINSCOM expects to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a start date of 24 February 2006 for a period of one year with four option years. The C-12 airframe and mission equipment life contractor cycle support (LCCS) shall include support to the airframe, avionics, and associated mission equipment. The primary operational base shall be within a 60 mile radius of Fort George Meade Maryland. The Contractor must have a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 repair station with the capability to provide DOD security cleared personn el if necessary. Contractor must be able to provide worldwide support within 72 hours notice. The Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) shall include all supplies, mission related consumable materials, and services necessary to maintain the airframe and m ission equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for all airframe and prime mission equipment (PME) maintenance levels on the aircraft and all its subsystems to include, the workstations, radar, communications, and the data-links. The contractor sha ll perform pre-mission functions, post mission functions, all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions to include daily, routine, and detail inspections as outlined IAW applicable maintenance manuals and guides.
