- Description
- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-06-R-0009 for Maintenance and Repair of Dining Facilities Equipment and Refrigeration at Fort Bragg, Simmons Army Air Field, and Camp MacKall, North Carolina. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, building, utilities, tools, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, transportation and other items as necessary to perform repair, replacement, modifications, maintenance, installation, and removal of food service equipment, food service support equipment, refrigeration equipment and minor plumbing as well as electrical support to ensure proper operations and service. Fort Bragg manages approximately 33 Dining Facilities. The Contractor shall respond to critical repair calls immediately, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, to support food service and refrigeration functions and ensure that equipment is promptly repaired. The Contractor shall respond to non-critical service calls in the Dining Facilities within 2 hours during normal duty hours. This is follow-on requirement and the incumbent is McLaurin General Maintenance, a Small Business concern. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310; small business size standard is $6.0 Million. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR Subpart 19.502-2, and shall result in a Firm-Fixed-Price, Commercial Service contract with a six month base period plus four one-year option periods. The anticipated release date of solicitation will be on or about 6 February 2006. RFPs will be due on or about 27 February 2006, 4:00 p.m. EST.
