Description

Notice of Intent for the Full Food Service at Fort Belvoir, Virginia The Capital District Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation for the Full Food Service for the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The contractor shall provide essential food service support for the Defense Mapping School (AIT Students), U.S. Army and Navy Reserves, U.S Army National Guards and all other Military units in and around the area. This is an 8(a) procurement. SLA will be eligible to compete iaw Randolph Sheppard Act. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract wit h a base period beginning 01 April 2006 through 30 September 2006, with four one-year periods. The NAICS code for this procurement is 722310 and the Size Standard is $19 Million. All prospective contractors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Cod e (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Tentatively anticipate issuing a solicitation on or about 20 January 06 and the solicitation number will be W91QV1-06-R-0005.
