Description

Maintenance and Repair of Industrial Saw Blades - Defense Distribution Center Red River (DDRT) has a requirement for a contractor to maintain saw blades used to fabricate wood boxes, dunnage skids and large containers for shipment of mission stock. This maintenance includes inspection, cleaning, sharpening, and repair or replacement of damaged teeth as required. Approx. 15-20 worn blades will be available for pick-up by the contractor every 2 weeks during normal work hours. A contract consisting of a base year and two (2) option years is expected. The acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business with NAICS Code 811411 and a Size Standard of $6 million. Tentative solicitation date is O/A 01 December 2005.
