- Description
- The Government has a requirement for the following: a quantity of five, 6x4 cab-over style tractors used to haul specialized van-type trailers in all terrain and in all climatic conditions. It shall have the necessary mounting system and all electrical connections to mount and electrically connect an Auxillary Power Unit (APU) behind the cab. The requirement for this Truck Tractor - APU must be built in accordance with the government purchase description. This requirement is for 2006 model year truck chassis. This procurement will be opened to all responsive and responsible offerors. Offers submitted must be in U.S. Dollars. The government will make an award to the lowest, responsive and responsible offeror. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov. Shipment is FOB Destination; the first production vehicle is required to be shipped within 180 days after receipt of order (ARO). The remaining four vehicles are required to be shipped within 90 days ARO. The delivery must not exceed 270 days in total. The award will be for: Firm Fixed Price/Requirements Contract with a 1-year option period. The solicitation number is: FFAH-T9-06-7585-RN. This solicitation will be issued on or about February 2, 2006, and closes on March 7, 2006. This requirement will be available for downloading at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
