Description

NSN:4730-00-065-0360 Parts, Kit, Steam trap This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 02/02/06, with the Response date on or around 03/06/06. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: YPC05249000511. Approved source: TYCO VALVES & CONTROLS LP (66850) P/N 9432, TYCO VALVES & CONTROLS LP(66850) P/N 963559-01. This will be a large purchase contract, Firm Fixed Price. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. The basic quantity will be for approximately 1,173 each. Shipments will be going to Norfolk, VA, and Tracy, CA. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See numbered notes: 26. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. This is for solicitation purposes only and does not apply for award.
