Description
The Manhattan II program is seeking new and emerging technology for screening checked baggage that could result in deployment-ready systems in 2010 and beyond.The Request For Information (RFI) documents are available for download exclusively from the internet by accessing the government-wide Federal Business Opportunities(FedBizOpps) http://fbo.gov. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the website to be notified when information on this project is uploaded. Any amendments issued to this RFI will be posted solely to the FedBizOpps website Note: For security reasons, TSA now distributes the Technical Data Package (Synopsis, NDA)through the Federal Technical Data Package Solutions(FedTeds)website. In order to obtain the Technical Data Package, the contractor is required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and have a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). For information on CCR and MPIN, access the website at: http//www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm ?The following changes and additions are made to the original Manhattan-II Synopsis, posted Jan10, 2006. 1. After faxing the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to Ronald Hanley, the following documentation will be provided to you via email: a. The Checked Baggage Common Elements System Specification b. The Manhattan-II Screening Elements System Specification c. Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs) d. Summary Description of the NexGen Manhattan-II Checked Baggage Program 2. Details related to registration and a preliminary agenda for the Manhattan-II Industry Day is provided in Summary Description of the NexGen Manhattan-II Checked Baggage Program. This document also explains the security requirements related to both the Industry Day and the documentation listed in item 1. 3. The Industry Day has been moved to Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006. 4. The final cut-off for comments submitted in response to the RFI has been moved to Friday, March 3rd, 2006. All inquiries related to the Manhattan-II Industry Day, the RFI, the documentation listed in item 1, and the NexGen Manhattan-II Program shall be submitted to Ronald.Hanley@asscoiates.dhs.gov, 571-227-3970, 571-227-2911 (fax)?
