Description

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking to establish a primary care presence (Community Based Outpatient Clinic-CBOC) or capability in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area (Garland County). Primary care is generally defined as the delivery and management of primary and preventative medical care and the continuity of that care for all VA enrolled patients. This service may also include surgical follow-up care. Secondary and tertiary level care for enrolled patients would be provided by referral to the CAVHS in Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition to the Hot Springs area, veterans residing in Clark, Garland, Montgomery, Perry, Yell and Hot Spring counties in Arkansas shall be served by this Primary Care presence. The CAVHS in Little Rock, Arkansas proposes to offer these Primary Care services through a negotiated capitated rate (per member, per month) contract. Population of enrollees is estimated to be 3199 first year and maximum of 5006. The contractor would provide clinical providers, medical facilities for Primary Care, medical equipment and supplies and all administrative functions to fulfill all levels and ranges of care expected for an initial one year base period and four (4) subsequent one year renewals. The NAICS code is 621111 and Small Business Size Standard is $8.5 Million per annum.
