- NAICS Code 238320. Work includes, but is not limited to: removal and installation of approximately 1,133 lineal yards of Government-furnished vinyl wall covering; remove and replace approximately 2,341 square feet of Government-furnished 18" x 18" carpet tiles; paint approximately 5,520 square feet of previously painted drywall partitions; remove and replace approximately 266 lineal feet of plastic chair rail and approximately 766 lineal feet of 4" vinyl base. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed, to be issued on or about March 15, 2006. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued January 27, 2006, with offers due on February 15, 2006. Anticipated award date is February 22, 2006. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. The subject drawings for this solicitation will not be posted electronically. Facsimile requests will be accepted and a copy of the drawings will be sent to the address the requester has provided. This procurement is being set aside for small business, see Numbered Note 1. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
