- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price modification to Alliant Integrated Defense Company to include an option to the current production contract. This option will allow for the upgrade of not yet delivered and previously delivered AAR-47 sensors in accordance with the Dynamic Blanking Engineering Change Proposal AAR47-06424-SU-0003. This option will include a maximum quantities of sensors to be upgraded. Alliant is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AAR-47 Missile Warning System and is the only source with the personnel, facilities, and knowledge to satisfy the government requirements.
