- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a more detailed solicitation is available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Hard copies will not be available. Offerors should check the VCCO Web Page often fo r new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Solicitation Number W912HZ-06-T-0015 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provis ion and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06 Correction. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside under NAICS Code 561730 (SIC 0782) with a size standard of $6,000,000.00. The USACE, Engineer Research and Deve lopment Center (ERDC) propose to issue a solicitation to provide grass mowing, trimming and edging at the ERDC, Vicksburg, MS. Specifications are as follows: Grounds Maintenance services are required at the following address: 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksb urg, MS 39180. Contractor shall maintain the premises, in accordance with the specifications. (Detailed Specifications are available on VCCO website). A Site Visit will be held Monday, 23 January, 2006 at 9:00AM, ERDC, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg , MS 39180. This procurement may be quoted for a Base Year and Four option years. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror in accordance with the evaluation factors. Proposals will be evaluated on management capability, experience of firm, past performance and price. The first three factors, when combined, are more important than price. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. Of ferors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. The Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, applies to this acquisition. The Clause at 52.212-5, Con tract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
