- Description
- The contractor must engineer, supply,install and program all necessary equipment, for an intergrated audio/visual system to the new dining facility (Bldg 250) at the Alpena CRTC, Alpena Mi. The system must include intergration of the following: comp uter and video displays, presentation equipment, video and audio distribution systems, display switching, sound and microphone systems, potential use for future video conferencing. The audio/video system must be capable of providing video, audio, and stere o input for up to five (5) seperate displays. The desired system shall include five televison locations, one optional projector and screen location, and all necessay distribution and switching equipment required to operate each unit individually or in vari ous combinations. The equipment shall include the following as minimum requirements: (1) Wall Mount Televisions (DIGITAL) with all required mounting hardware; (2) Audio mixer that provides advanced audio processing, microphone mixing, and routing for local audio reinforcement; (3)Handheld and lapel combo wireless microphone system; (4) DVD/VCR combo units which can play VHS, DVD, DVD-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, CD, and J-PEG/M-PEG; (5) VGA and stereo audio switching capable of routing high resolution computer video an d stereo audio signals; (6) composite stereo video switcher designed to route balanced and unbalanced stereo audio signals; (7) this system requires a control systems that can integrate - control and automation equipment, this is to include all cables, con nections, and equipment; (8) provide and install equipment shelves in customer supplied 19 inch open bay rack for equipment support; (9) provide and install combo shelves for DVD/VCR players; (10) provide laser pointers for power point presentations; (11) provide customer with technical training for system use. A site survey will be held and notificaiton will be made at with issuance of formal solicitation.
