- Description
- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Vehicle Research and Test Center (VRTC) has a requirement to acquire one or more contractors with qualified personnel, facilities and equipment to provide the following items related to anthropomorphic test devices: 1) complete units; 2) replacement parts and materials; 3) data acquisition equipment; 4) accelerometers, transducers and load cells; 5)calibration and repair services; and 6) Engineering/Technical services. This will be a full and open competition of multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts. Fixed Price Delivery orders for parts and materials and time and material task orders for calibration, repair and engineering services are anticipated to be let against the resulting contracts. The period of performance will be 5 years. The solicitation will available for downloading via the Internet referencing the above solicitation number at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about January 30, 2006 No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet site for the release of the solicitation, amendments (if any), and responses to any questions submitted in accordance with the solicitation provisions.
