- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is included with the following factors to be applied for evaluation; 1.) conformity with the specifications and performance abilities of the system specified, 2.) compatibility with existing equipment and environment where the system may be used, 3.) warranty and service support/replacement programs and procedures. (x) Offerors shall upon request provide a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, before issuance of award. (xi) FAR clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) Offers must be registered in CCR.
