- HSCG87-06-B-643152 ? Domestic Water Arsenic Treatment System at USCG Loran Station, Attu, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, equipment, transportation (except government furnished) and incidentals necessary to perform the following work at Loran Station Attu, Attu, Alaska. Furnish, assemble, install and make fully operable a small arsenic water treatment system. The arsenic treatment system must meet the State of Alaska and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) potable drinking water requirements including the new maximum containment level (MCL) for arsenic of 10 ppb. The water treatment plant maximum capacity shall be 20 gpm. The new system installed in an existing building will supplement an existing water treatment system. The Coast Guard will provide limited transportation for material, equipment and personnel from the Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak, Alaska to Loran Station Attu and return via scheduled C130 flights. All work shall be completed within 150 calendar days after award. Contract award is anticipated early to mid March 2006. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the applicable size standard is $12.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form.
