- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of Treasury, intends to issue a sole source purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Zeta Services, Inc. for credit scoring services which includes 3 copies of quarterly updates. This scoring service is used by the OCC's Office of Interagency Shared National Credit (SNC) as a prescreening tool for public companies and provides an objective means of testing the effectiveness and consistency of Shared National Credit dispositions. The Zeta score is applied to the credits in the SNC database to measure the borrower's ability to repay. The model has been proven to be effective in identifying and precreening high quality borrowers and reducing the number of credit scores reviewed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received after the date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
