- SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s Bank Information Technology (BIT) Conference to be held in October 2006 in San Diego, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Milwaukee, or Minneapolis. This is a four-day conference. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 115. The program may consist of one reception; a general session on two days; and two to five concurrent sessions on three days. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in January 2006. The solicitation document contains the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR Part 13). All responsible vendors may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in February/March 2006. *****
