Description
Computer Operations: The contractor will be required to perform computer operation functions including console operation and system control through interaction with the operating system which includes system initialization procedures, initialization of support functions, initiation of job execution, initiation of restart procedures, execution of file and system backup/recovery procedures, execution of special operational requests, maintenance of tape libraries, and accountability of supplies IAW the Statement of Work. Maintenance Operations: The contractor will be required to perform computermaintenance operation functions to include: 1) routine preventive maintenance on specified equipment and any newly acquired hardware directly related to mission operation including all peripherals as indicated in appropriate technical manuals. This maintenance includes PC terminals, as to be further detailed in Statement of Work; 1) Ensure hardware is in full operational condition at all times. Provide replacement parts to include the replacement of components, when necessary, in order to meet the above requirements. This includes performing monthly (and as required) maintenance. Installation of maintenance kit for printers will be provided by the Government; 3) Installation and testing of newly acquired equipment. Installation will be in accordance with the installation schedule provided by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). testing will be accomplished upon installation as required by the COR and the results reported to the COR upon test completion. Personnel: The contractor will furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to accomplish the tasks described in the Statement of Work, to include Supervisors, COmputer Operators, and Maintenance Personnel.
