- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB) Construction firms for a project. This procurement is for Design-Build services for a Support Services Building of approximately 18,000 GSF at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, H. John Heinz III Progressive Care Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The project will include, but is not limited to, furnishing all necessary management, supervision, personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, facilities necessary to plan, schedule, coordinate, new construction, HVAC & Control System, Plumbing System, Electrical System, Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Protection, Elevators, , Cast-in-Place Concrete, Interior Partitions, Masonry, IT Services, Parking Lot, Site Work, Landscaping and Demolition. The offeror shall furnish, obtain any and all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work in the state of Pennsylvania. Cost Range for this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220. Solicitation documents will be available on or about January 12, 2006. A Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled for February 8, 2006 at 1:00 PM Local Time at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, H. John Heinz III Progressive Care Center , Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh , PA 15260. Sealed proposals are due to the Contracting Officer by February 28, 2006, 3:00 PM EDT. All Offerors must ensure that their firms have the ability to provide both 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds.
