Description

The Executive Office for US Attorney?s (EOUSA) intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Internet Security Systems (ISS). The contract period will be for one year. Specifically, EOUSA has a need for additional ISS server sensor software licenses and maintenance. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government and the related-industry, it has been determined that EOUSA?s requirement can only be provided by ISS. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) EST, January 26, 2006 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is February 1, 2006.
