- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the Multimodal Interaction and Machine Learning Algorithms Conference to be held in Bethesda, Maryland on May 1-3, 2006. Through competitive procedures,? Plansoft? it has been determined that the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, Maryland is the only vendor available on the dates required, in the location needed, with the required space available. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to the Hyatt Regency Bethesda Hotel for sleeping rooms, meeting space, food services and audiovisual equipment for 150 attendees. This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13?Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. FAR 52.212-4, Contracts Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A solicitation package is not available.
