- Description
- The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB NV, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Network Control Support at Nellis AFB, NV. Services will encompass NCC contractor support in operating, maintaining, and modernizing network infrastructure capabilities, such as over 60 servers hosting core service applications(i.s. email, file, web, antivirus)and 12 core backbone nodes to approximately 370 end building nodes. Additionally contractor will control local security postures by maintaining compliance with ACC-directed time-critical network orders for identified computer vulnerabilities and raise the standard of excellence by creating and maintaining a local web portal gear specifically for workgroup manager which furnishes them guidance, direction, and resources through 445,000 pages of instant information. Also, due to the exposure of sensitive material, it will be required that the contractor have a secret facilities clearance already in place before submitting a proposal. The anticipated contract start date will be 1 Dec 2005, with a period of performance of a base year and four (4) option years. We anticipate to release a solicitation on or about 27 Oct 2005. The solicitation number to be assigned to this acquisition is FA4861-05-R-B115. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541611. The acquisition will be restricted to 8(a)vendors only with a current secret facilities clearance in place.
