- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Acquisition Contracts Office plans to contract by other than full and open competition for the purchase of commercial satellite radar, data and downlink services from MacDonald Detwiller & Associates (MDA), the parent company of RadarSat International. This is a twelve month extension under Contract Number NMA301-02-D-0001, for the continuation of services. The extension of this contract is paramount to NGA?s ability to provide timely, accurate and relevant imagery and imagery intelligence to the intelligence community. In addition, the contractor shall support the Eagle Vision (EV) downlink program for products for deployed theater and disaster relief. MDA will provide raw data, downlink services, and derived products from RadarSat-1 satellite. Any viable response to the FBO will be considered.
