- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a sole source purchase order for maintenance of the Athene Software tools. The Distributed Capacity Management Section of the IRS is currently using the existing Athene software tools to perform the system capacity and system performance study for all Tier II systems. Continued maintenance service is necessary to carry out this mission without interruption or system down time. The following Athene annual maintenance with a one year option is required: Control Center (3),Sentinal(1),Explorer(6),Analyst(6),Planner(6),Auto Reporter (2), Trend(1),Acquires (Unlimited. . This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 9 A.M. EST, January 13, 2006 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
