- 20 ? Procurement of 19 certified actuators (various types) for the Advanced SEAL Delivery System (ASDS) Rotatable Pool. Certification shall be done by overhauling and/or upgrading existing government assets. Negotiations shall be conducted on a sole source basis with Electronics Sensors and Systems Division of Northrop Grumman Corporation, PO Box 1488, Annapolis, MD 21404. Written solicitation N00189-06-R-P102 shall be available at Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO), by accessing www.neco.navy.mil and located under Command/Site N00189, or Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) by accessing www.fbo.gov and located under DOD/DON/Naval Sea Systems Command/Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH. This synopsis is issued for subcontracting opportunities only. In addition, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation shall be available at the above noted websites on or about 30 January 2006. Note 22 applies.
