- Description
- The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to obtain testing, troubleshooting, programming, repair services and minor alterations to the direct digital control (DDC) systems for Buildings 3, 4,5, 6 and 36 at the Naval Support Activity (NSA), 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. NOTE: After bid opening but prior to award, the apparent low bidder will be required to evidence specialized experience with DDC Johnson Controls, Metasys System. It is the government?s intention to award an Indefinite Quantity (IQ) contract. Due to the transitional nature of the government workforce, additional buildings may be added in the future. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Sealed Bid procedures, (Invitation for Bid)). The term of the contract will be for a base period of 12 months plus four (4) twelve month options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The size standard is $6.0. This solicitation will be issued as UNRESTRICTED, --- open to both large and small business concerns. The availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Registration and downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective bidders are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this procurement when specifications become available. An official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government cannot be responsible for your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. The solicitation will not be available until on or about 20 Jan 2006. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. In addition, all contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes a bidder ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the websites at http://www.ccr.gov or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.703. NOTE: Bidders should submit verification of their firm?s registration in the CCR database with their bid. Prior to any award the apparent low bidder will be required to demonstrate specialized experience with the installation, maintenance and programming of Johnson Controls, (DDC) Metasys Systems.
