Description

This proposed procurement is restricted to 8(a) competitive in the State of Arkansas. NAICS Codes 237310 and 237990, size standard $31.0 million. Project title is AALZ Parallel Taxiway. Work consists of a semi-prepared parallel taxiway. This project is located in the All American Landing Zone (AALZ) at Camp Robinson, Pulaski County, Arkansas. The project consists of construction of a 3,898.12 semi-prepared parallel taxiway and supportin g features near the existing semi-prepared runway. The project also consists of borrowing, grading, excavation, filling, and compaction, 17 inch finish thickness of aggregate paving, construction of storm drainage pipe culverts, construction of electrical lighting, and construction of a regulator building. In addition there are construction options. 1) Paving and; 2) Semi flush lighting and a 9 feet X 15 feet metal building for electrical regulator equipment and deleting the solar lights. In addition the re are construction options. The All American Landing Zone (AALZ) Parallel Taxiway, Camp Robinson, Arkansas is being advertised as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This request for proposal requires separate technical and cost proposals to be evaluated based on Best Value Award of the p roject. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Technically and Cost is considered equal. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Construction time is anticipated to take approx. 270 days after notice to proceed.
