- Description
- The Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) intends to procure on a sole source basis with a small business company; ProModel Corporation, 556 East Technology Ave, OREM, UT 84097-8110, USA. The services are for Technical Support beginning 20 Jan 06 through 19 Jan 11, to evolve the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) Synchronization Tool (AST) prototype into an official system of record. ARFORGEN is a new force management process instituted by the Chief of Staff of the Army (CSA) to synchronize the manning, equip ping, training and resourcing functions inherent in generating Army units for worldwide use. The ARFORGEN Synchronization Tool requirement has now become very critical and the timelines for the services are very stringent. Further development of a new to ol that is not within the Armys inventory would delay in fulfilling FORSCOMs requirements. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide all the services that will satisfy its requirement, based on the responses provided after Sy nopsis for Sources Sought on FED BIZ OPPS Announcement dated 02 16 Dec 05 and other independent Market Research. This notice will close on 13 Jan 06 at 3:00pm.
