- Description
- The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, surface preparation and painting of the exterior of facilities, storage tanks, pools, light standards and towers on an on-call basis on Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. The substrates to be painted primarily consist of concrete, masonry, metal and wood surfaces. The offeror must be licensed for the purpose of lead based paint removal at the time of submission of initial offer. Proposals submitted without written proof of Delaware State License to remove lead-based paint will not be considered for award. Information regarding this licensure may be found in the State of Delaware?s Regulations Governing Lead Based Paint Hazards. This requirement was adopted 15 July 1998 by the Secretary of Delaware Health and Social Services under authority of 16 Del. C. Chapter 1, 122(3)(t) and became effective on 11 August 1998. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238320. The approximate issue date will be 05 January 2006 with an approximate response date of 06 February 2006. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. The performance period is one (1) initial year and four (4) option years. The base year project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Each option year magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 436 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
