- FRICTION MAT SWEEPER FA8601-06-T-0047 The government (88 CONS/PKBB) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is The FOD Control Corporation of Tucson, Arizona. The item being procured includes two (2) qty. ?FOD BOSS? Friction Mat Sweepers. The NAICS code for this purchase is 333999, and associated small business size standard is 500 employees. The government requires the acquisition of a tow-behind type friction mat sweeper. The FOD BOSS sweeper is the only equipment capable of meeting this requirement. This notice is being published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
