- This is an UNRESTRICTED SOLICITATION. Remodel 4th Floor - East & West Wings for outpatient specialty clinics. Work to include, but not limited to, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform general construction, selective demolition, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, partitions, ceilings, casework, alterations of existing plumbing and fire sprinkler system, and removal of disposal of asbestos containing materials, lead paint, certain other items, and all work necessary for the accomplishment of subject project. Cost range is BETWEEN $2million and $5million subject to availability of funds. Bid performance and payment bonds will be required. Specifications and drawings will be issued only in electronic format and may be issued on or about January 31, 2006. Distribution will be under the control of the contracting officer. CD media of plans and specifications will be available at no cost to the potential bidder by contacting the Contracting Officer named below in writing. A job walk of the construction site is scheduled for Monday, February 6th @ 9:00am. The site visit will be at the VA Central California Health Care System - Fresno.
