- Adams and Associates, Inc., contracting for the Department of Labor, for the operation of the Woodstock Job Corps Center, a 505-student residential training facility located at 10900 Old Court Road, Woodstock, Md. 21163. We are currently soliciting request for written quotes for the following project here at our facility. Please see attach scope of work. SCOPE OF WORK DOORS & FRAMES The intent of this scope of work is to supply and install new doors, frames and hardware in several locations on the Center as per the following scope of work, specifications and instructions. A: Main Building - Carroll Bay 8 and Liberty Hall 3 Doors. 1. The existing doors are damaged. 2. The contractor shall remove existing doors and frames. 3. The contractor shall supply and install a new welded metal frames and hollow metal doors ( 16 ga ) in the existing openings. 4. The contractor shall supply and install new Hinges, Panic Hardware, Door Closures and an 11? X 11? wire glass in each door. 5. The contractor shall finish the door and frame with one coat of rust inhibiting paint and a finish coat of paint to match existing. 6. Rim lock sets are supplied by the center. B: Administration Building 3rd Floor 1 Door. 1. The existing door is damaged. 2. The contractor shall remove existing door. 3. The contractor shall supply and install a new welded metal frame and hollow metal Door ( 16 ga ) in the existing opening. 4. The contractor shall supply and install new hinges, panic hardware, Door Closures, an 11? X 11? wire Glass and sill plate. 5. The contractor shall grout the new frame to the existing opening. 6. The contractor shall prime and paint doors to match existing. C: CPP Building 1st, 2nd and 3rd Floors 3 Doors. 1. The existing doors are damaged. 2. The contractor shall remove existing doors and frames. 3. The contractor shall install a new welded metal frame and hollow metal doors ( 16 ga ) in the existing openings. 4. The contractor shall supply and install new Hinges, Door Closure and Panic Devise and an 11? X 11? wire glass in each door. 5. The contractor shall prime and paint door to match existing. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS A. HARDWARE 1. Door closure shall be Dorma Door Control Model 640 Completed with parallel arm and set bolt meeting package alum finish. 2. Panic Bar Von Duprin Model 22EO. B. DEMOLITION/REMOVAL 1. The contractor shall verify location and extent of demolition required to accomplish the work. 2. Construction debris must be removed from the site and construction area must be secured to the centers satisfaction at the end of each workday. C. RULES 1. The contractor shall at all times abide by the centers rules and regulations. 2. The contractor must meet Davis Bacon Act Wage Requirements. 3. Payment terms are Net 30 from Center sign-off on completion 4. The contractor shall supply evidence of applicable licenses, liability insurance and workmen?s compensation insurance. 5. Work shall be completed during the hours of 7am ? 3pm Mon-Fri unless otherwise arranged with Center Facility Manager. 6. Center Facility Manager, David Bonsal, will be the Point-of-Contact for site construction needs. The Center F&A Manager, Rodney Butler, will be the POC for contract administration. 7. The contractor shall at all times abide by the centers rules and regulations. 8. The contractor must meet Davis Bacon Act Wage Requirements. D. WARRANTY 1. All materials, services and labor shall be warranted free for a period of one year.
