Description

The Contractor shall provide any and all personnel, equipment, supplies, permits, licenses, and services necessary to perform chain saw pre-commercial thinning and slash treatments. Work will begin the base year 2005. Tasks to be performed will be listed in individual task orders against an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantities contract. This statement of work consists of completing the tasks to the quality assurance requirements stated in the plan. Work areas are generally located within the boundaries of the Fremont-Winema National Forest. Work areas are accessible by standard two-wheel drive pickup (with snow tires and chains if needed) during normal operating seasons. In order to minimize soil erosion and damage to National Forest lands and roads, all roads are subject to closure during spring and fall break up or whenever soil or weather conditions require. This is an Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation for five years Chain Saw Pre-commercial thinning and slash treatment. This is a Hubzone Set-aside. Expected issue date is May 23 and expected open date is June 22, 2005. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-MAY-2005).
