- Description
- The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation on a sole source basis, for contractor logistics support of the M31 Arresting Gear. The logistics support will cover depot repair and rework, Supply Support Administration including the distribution of M31 Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and spares, Maintenance of GFE, M31 Spares, Configuration Management and M31 Technical Manual updates. ESCO located in Aston, PA, is the sole designer and developer of the M31 Arresting Gear equipment, subassemblies and spares that were delivered to the USMC under contract N68335-98-C-0225. A Five Year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated. The US government does not possess the Level 3 drawings necessary to conduct a competitive procurement at this time. This procurement is subject to Export Control Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 24 March 2005. Responses should reference RFP# N68335-05-R-0078. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
