- Description
- In support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS/IMF), the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), has a requirement for up to 220 various sized expandable seals and 30 various sized flute seals. The seals shall be manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA drawing #STD-820-7348602. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 and is set-aside exclusively for small businesses under NAICS 339991, business size 500. This is not a commercial (FAR Part 12) acquisition based upon market research. Any resulting contract is anticipated to be of the firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a base year and four possible option years. The seals are to be delivered FOB Destination, Bremerton WA 98314. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/ All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time. The solicitation anticipated solicitation posting date is 20 January 2006.
