- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport anticipates awarding a contract to Colmek Systems Engineering, 2001 South 3480 West - Salt Lake City, Utah 8410, to purchase one (1) single frequency, PC-based acoustic imaging sonar system to operate with an upward viewing low light camera system. Corresponding data will also be acquired as part of the basic requirement. It is also anticipated that options will be included to purchase up to six (6) additional sonar systems. A firm fixed price type contract is the anticipated contract type. This is a sole source acquisition as the contractor is the only known manufacturer of a real time 3 Dimensional (3D) upward looking acoustic imaging sonar system. See note 22.
