Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) is requesting quotes for information and planning purposes from GSA Federal Supply Schedule holders and Open Market sources for provision of one (1) temporary building/shelter. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLYThis is not an indication that NSWC PC will purchase the item specified within this announcement. NSWC PC will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this announcement. NSWC PC is seeking sources to provide a temporary building that meets the following salient characteristics: - Temporary building/shelter with frame of heavy duty galvanized steel tubing and a waterproof cover over frame. - Building/shelter must meet or exceed American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Standard 7-02, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures 1. Basic Wind Speed = 130 mph 2. Exposure Category = C 3. Importance Factor = 0.77 - Frame designed for gusts to 130 mph with cover on, 140 mph with cover off - Dimensions - 45 feet w x 50 feet L x 24 feet H with 14 foot high sidewall. Total of 2,250 square feet - End walls complete with corrosion resistant support frames. - Personnel Doors, out-swing, pre-hung 36"W x 80"H , complete with corrosion resistant support frames. - Steel Roll up doors, commercial grade chain operated coil style, 14' wide by 14' high. - Pre-wired for lighting, convenience outlets, electrical panel and HVAC that the Government would hook to existing power. - Provided with 12 ton, 4,800 cfrm HVAC unit Should the Government decide to purchase this item the vendor would install the building onsite at NSWC PC. No site preparation would be required, no hookup of utilities would be required. Only minor construction related to the installation may be required. Interested vendors should submit their quote plus any applicable product literature, drawings, brochures or related material on or before 20 January 2006 via electronic mail. No solicitation document exists at this time. Vendors are advised to provide their best quote to facilitate planning by the Government.
