Description
This is a commercial acquisition for an Indefinite Quantity multiple award contract for on-call, as-needed rental of sedans and passenger vans with unlimited mileage, to all activities, installations and organizations which are part of the Department of the Navy and/or other Federal Government agencies. The intent of this contract is to provide the Government with an efficient and responsive means to obtain sedans and passenger vans to meet short-term agency requirements of sixty (60) calendar days or less. This procurement is for one solicitation that may result in multiple awards. This solicitation is for a period of twelve months. The Government may extend the term of the contract for a period of one to twelve months. The total durations including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. This procurement is not set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532111, and the size standard is $23,500,000. Third Party ordering of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) work using DOD EMALL and Government Purchase Cards (GPCs) will be utilized. Refer to Section H, Special Contact Requirements, Contractors Support of Electronic Facilities Support Contracting (E-FSC), and Section I, Contract Clauses, FAR 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party (MAY 1999). The solicitation will be available in electronic format only and will be posted on the electronic solicitation (E-Sol) website on or about 20 January 2006. Estimated proposal due date shall be at least 30 days after the solicitation is posted on the E-Sol website. The site address is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Notifications of any updates or amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the website only. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-Sol website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE E-SOL WEBSITE FOR CHANGES.
