- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.4., NAS Patuxent River, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order with Process Measurement & Controls, Inc., DMA-Aero Division, 11 Old Sugar Holly Rd., Danbury, CT 06810, to supply two (2); MPS35 Air Data Test Set with the following features: compliant with military aircraft standards; compatible with the Goodrich Sensor Systems SmartProbe(TM) Air Data System; hand terminal; 3 channels (Ps, Pt, and AOA); internal rechargeable battery/ 4hr life; 5000 hour pump guarantee; 8 line isolation, 2 for static, 2 for AOA, 4 for pilot; 2 year warranty; to support E-2D (Advanced Hawkeye); . The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The MPS35 Air Data Test Set is the only known test set compatible with the Goodrich Sensor Systems SmartProbe(TM) Air Data System installed on the E-2D (Advanced Hawkeye) aircraft. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. An alternate product, as a minimum, must be OEM certified compatible with the Goodrich Sensor Systems SmartProbe(TM) Air Data System and must demonstrate through past performance successful use on Naval aircraft. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov, database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement as a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
