- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a notice of the Governments intent to award sole source (Note 22) to Advance Arm Dynamics for initial fittings and changes to myoelectric prostheses over the course of the patients rehabilitative therapy. This is set aside for small business. T his action also encompasses therapy and reassessment at various intervals of the prosthetic fittings. These are various components for prosthetic arms, legs, and joints for traumatic amputees and blast victims. These devices a designed for specific patient using of computer modeling and the professional services of a certified prosthetist. This notice is an urgent requirement for Walter Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20307, contract number W91YTZ-05-P-0410. Parties i nterested in future announcements shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certifications to clearly meet the requirements stated above.
